Open this page in Safari, then tap Share
The Share button is the square with an arrow pointing up, at the bottom of the screen (at the top on an iPad).
In Chrome or Edge on iOS 16.4 or later, Share is in the address bar or the menu.
Tap "Add to Home Screen"
Scroll down the list that opens until you see Add to Home Screen.
Tap Add, then open it from your Home Screen
The OE Support icon appears with your other apps. Open it there, sign in, and use it like an app.
Open it from the icon, not from Safari: only the Home Screen app keeps its offline copy for good.
Download, then open the file
Tap Download the app. If the browser asks whether to keep the file, tap Download anyway.
When it has downloaded, tap Open (or open oe-support.apk from your Downloads).
Allow your browser to install it
Android may say your phone is not allowed to install apps from this source. Tap Settings, switch on Allow from this source, then press Back.
This lets your browser hand the app to Android. You can switch it off again afterwards.
When Play Protect warns you
Google may say "Unsafe app blocked" or that it does not recognise the app. Tap More details, then Install anyway.
Google warns about every app it has not seen many times outside the Play Store. OE Support is signed by Opportunity Education, asks only for the internet and for installing its own updates, and refuses to run on a phone that has been tampered with.
Install, then open
Tap Install (or Update if you had it already), then Open, and sign in as usual.
If the app says to turn off Developer options or USB debugging: it does not run while those are on, for your security. Turn them off in Settings and open it again.
